Internship Compensation
At the moment, I have no financial compensation available. If you apply through OREL, we can try to sort out academic credit or experiential learning requirements via your participation in our groups.
In general, for 5-10 hour or part time "unpaid" internship/research assistant opportunities, we aim to:
- Provide letters of recommendation
- Give feedback on application materials for jobs/internships/graduate school
- You will be invited to join optional weekly, professional development seminars with my team
- You will also be able to attend optional lab meetings at Dr. Bradly Alicea's Orthogonal Research and Education Lab, or DevoWorm groups
- Optional, biweekly 1-on-1 meetings to work on your career goals
- Authorship opportunities on posters and papers
Advice on Applying
Orthogonal Research and Education Lab & DevoWorm
Cognition Futures, Society Ethics Tech, and all other groups of Orthogonal Research and Education Lab or DevoWorm require an application process and approval by Head Scientist and Director Dr. Bradly Alicea. I do not directly control entry into the lab, but I am available to assist with applications or, in my role as Lab Manager, can offer context about the lab itself.
